Emily Ratajkowski found herself in a situation where theĀ Australian comedianĀ Celeste Barber mimicked a racy photo of her from two years ago. Emily Ratajkowski was pushed over the edge by Celeste Barberā€™s latest mockery, specifically her G-string photoshoot remake.

Celeste initially poked fun at the supermodel back in 2017.

The caption accompanying the G-string photoshoot declares, ā€˜We are sick of objectifying our bodies! Also, hereā€™s my a*s.ā€™

Consequently, Ratajkowski decided to block the comedian on Instagram. In a High Low podcast episode, she expressed her thoughts, ā€œThe whole drama with Celeste has been blown out of proportion.ā€

This development coincides with the 31-year-oldā€™s prior discussions about how her image has been exploited for financial gain, as detailed in her book.

She said in the podcast, ā€˜In general, I find her to be really funny. But, the message I was trying to send to her was, ā€œI just donā€™t want you to do this to me anymoreā€. I was like, ā€œIā€™m not giving her my consent for this joke anymore.ā€ It just landed at a specific time for me.ā€™

Ratajkowski asserted that she holds no personal grudge against Celeste, emphasizing that mocking women who express themselves through their bodies is inherently rooted in misogyny.

Emily Ratajkowski continued, ā€˜We really love to pick on female influencers, like they are considered the trash, lamest, most cringe, most embarrassing people on the planet.ā€™

ā€˜I fundamentally find that to be sexist. Yeah, no s**t, women want to be influencers ā€“ itā€™s one of the ways that women have learned to be successful and make money. Theyā€™re hustling,ā€™ she added.

Despite facing criticism for her parodies of Ratajkowskiā€™s photos, Celeste reaffirmed her stance this year, asserting that she remains unapologetic for her actions.

The Wellmania celebrity shared with Marie Claire in January: ā€˜I like running my mouth off. I do it a lot. Iā€™m quick-witted ā€“ itā€™s one of my favorite things about me.ā€™

Celeste added: ā€˜I donā€™t like that I feel I canā€™t do that as much, and yeah, I do feel like I censor myself sometimes. But then other times I donā€™t give a f**k and I operate from a place of already being cancelled. I mean good luck to them. You canā€™t win. They hate what you do one day, then youā€™re the greatest thing in the world the next day.ā€™
